Cribbing prevention:

Cribbing is a behavioural vice in horses caused by boredom and involves destructive chewing or biting. Cribbing can result in digestive disturbances, weight loss and dental damage and of course damage to stable infrastructure.

The behaviour may be reduced by providing the horse with adequate exercise, avoiding constant stabling, providing toys and social interaction and using Joseph Lyddy’s specially developed Crib Stop.

Crib Stop Spray or Crib Stop Paste can be applied to surfaces, materials, tack and many more items to discourage chewing, sucking or biting habits. Safe non – toxic, stainless, odourless and washes out with water.
